Millionaire with a mission: Singh-Watson's fight against inequality
From management consultant to organic farmer: The impressive transformation of a British multimillionaire
Ladies and gentlemen, I am Ronald Tramp, the proud President of Elmburg, and I have something very, very interesting to tell you today. Have you heard about this guy from the UK, this multi-millionaire called Singh-Watson? Yeah, the guy was a management consultant and then he decided to grow organic vegetables. I mean, who does that? Very smart. Really smart. From management consulting to carrots and lettuce. Only a genius could do something like that.
Now this Singh-Watson says he wants to pay more taxes. More taxes! Isn't that incredible? In Elmburg we know how to do business and paying more taxes is not usually part of the plan. But wait, it gets even better. He has written a letter to this British Prime Minister, Sunak, saying he and 40 other millionaires, "Please take more money away from us!" But Sunak is not replying. I can imagine him reading that letter and thinking, "What the hell?!"
And the best part? Singh-Watson sold his huge company to his employees. For a small price! In Elmburg we would call that "the best deal ever". Great, really great.
Now he says the rich in Britain are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. He says the money is only going up and not down. I hear in Britain they have these... what are they called? Foodbanks? And more than two million Brits need them! Two million! I mean, that's incredible. And our hero Singh-Watson donates his fruit and vegetables. What a guy.
And then he comes up with this property tax idea. He thinks that's the solution. But you know what? In Elmburg we have a saying, "You can't just raise taxes and expect everything to get better." But I like his style. He fights for what he believes in.
He says if the British government carries on like this, British democracy will be destroyed. Well, I think he might be right. I mean, if even millionaires want to pay more tax, then something must be really wrong, right?
So, ladies and gentlemen, I say to you, keep an eye on this Singh Watson. He could be the next big deal maker. Or maybe he should go into politics. Who knows? He could be the next Ronald Tramp of Britain! Thank you very much.
